EAA 16th Annual Meeting

Pre-conference symposium on Science Based Archaeology

31st August 2010, Delft

On August 31st 2010 CAAS organizes in Delft a congress where CAAS-related research topics will be presented. The congress will focus on the development and the application of non-destructive techniques in the study on origin and authenticity of archaeological finds. The congress is on the day previous to the 16th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologist (EAA), which will be organized from 1st – 5th September 2010 in The Hague (near Delft).

Posters will be available the entire duration of the congress (there will be no seperate poster sessions).

Location

The CAAS Symposium takes place in the Congress Centre "Aula" of the Delft University of Technology. At the busstop in front of the train station Delft, you can take bus 69 (destination Delft TU wijk) or bus 121 (destination Zoetermeer). Gett off at bus stop 'Aula TU Delft' in Delft.

Preliminary to the congress, participants are advised to obtain travel, medical, and personal accident insurance.
